Interpol Notices

Read a news article about a blue corner notice being issued by the Interpol against Colonel R Sadat Ullah, believed to be a Pakistani army personnel, accused of being involved in Mumbai terror attacks. The same article also mentioned a red corner notice being issued against Lashkar-e-Toiba founder Hafiz Saeed earlier. Wanted to find out what these notices are.

Interpol’s system of international notices is to help police in member countries share critical crime-related information. The official website of the Interpol gives the list of such notices.

A red corner notice is “To seek the arrest or provisional arrest of wanted persons with a view to extradition.”

A blue corner notice is “To collect additional information about a person’s identity or activities in relation to a crime.”

There is a yellow corner notice (“To help locate missing persons, often minors, or to help identify persons who are unable to identify themselves.”), a black corner notice (“To seek information on unidentified bodies”), to name a couple more.

Its indeed a pleasant surprise to read you post … infact its a discovery i wud say, as I was not aware that you are in ” one post daily ” …its indeed a very very pleasant surprise .

My suggestion …every body writes about social issues ..how about writing about the probable solution … we all know there are problems … but how about telling how to go ahead & resolve the issue . I believe one small step todays restoration / resolution of the issue will make all the difference .

Looking forward for more interesting post coming on our way .

So what’s this blog about?

Another attempt? Well yes. Attempting to figure out another sustainable model (there are some other attempts going on parallel-ly). Well, we have a lot of questions in mind. we read up stuff, we do some research to find answers to these questions. This is an attempt to publish that little 15-20 minute research.
