Why does vibration mode gets disabled when phone is charging?

Have seen this often. My old phone switched back to audible mode when I kept it for charging and there an alarm was supposed to ring. My new phone does not bother to alert me at all (and hence I wake up late). So was just trying to figure out why should the vibration mode get disabled when the phone is charging.

Here’s an explanation from amazon

When the battery is charging, your phone goes back to non-vibrating mode because the vibrator draws much more current than the ringer.  That would interfere with the charging cycle.  On some phones, the vibrator mechanism is in the battery itself, and is disabled when it’s on charge.

So what’s this blog about?

Another attempt? Well yes. Attempting to figure out another sustainable model (there are some other attempts going on parallel-ly). Well, we have a lot of questions in mind. we read up stuff, we do some research to find answers to these questions. This is an attempt to publish that little 15-20 minute research.
